Sue Cathey
retired after 30+ years with the Forest Service. Her career took her
to many beautiful locations including Jackson, Wyoming, several
locations in Idaho, Montana and California as well as Girdwood,
Alaska. She lives in New Meadows, ID with her husband and two dogs
(Pete the Yorkie and Tess the Papillion) who actually rule the
household. She has a passion for all fiber arts, but especially
knitted lace. Sue is a member of an Oregon fire team where she has
been seen knitting lace in her tent as a way to relax and to deal
with the long hours and stress. Her goal is to bring her love of
lace to other fiber artists. Sue is teaching
