Debra Smith's recent designs combine her interest in photography with her love of quilt art, and she is currently at work on a series of pieces based on images, icons and hidden messages. This new work will be on display at the Spori Museum located at BYUI during the month of May. Debra is a graduate of Eastern Washington University with a degree in Studio Art. She took up quilting in 1996 and has been experimenting in her garage laboratory for several years in search of the perfect dying methods as well as discharge. 

Debra will be teaching Discharge Dyeing.
