My goal for you during this class is to teach you the basics of crocheting. At the end of the class, you will have learned how to read a pattern, work with yarn and thread, and starch your thread project. We will do two projects during the class. In the morning, we will work with cotton yarn to make a wash cloth. In the afternoon, we will progress to a thread project finishing up the day with a short discussion on starching techniques. We will starch and block the thread project in class. The following materials will be provided for you: Yarn, thread, crochet hooks, instructions, T-pins, starch.
