Lonna Alexander-Steele is
a professional Costume Designer specializing in period clothing, has
been an instructor and guest lecturer in the college and university
systems of three western states and holds a degree in the History of
Textiles and Fashion with special emphasis on conservation and
restoration. Her studies led her naturally to spinning, weaving,
dyeing and textile production. Lonna is the owner of Twisted
Rainbow, teaches classes in the western US, and especially enjoys
working with young people in the hopes of igniting in them a passion
for working with fibers. Lonna is from McCall, Idaho.
Lonna
is teaching Dyeing, Rovings and Fiber with Mother Mackenzie's Dyes, an all day class, on Saturday beginning at 9am.
