You will be taught a couple of different heel flap patterns, how to turn the heel cup and how to pick up the gusset stitches without leaving holes.

Each student will need to do some homework – sorry but it has to be done. Cast on 60 stitches with a sock weight yarn and size 1 or 2 needles. If you know that your knitting is very loose or very tight, please adjust. Knit in a 1:1 rib for at least one inch. Do this twice (2 socks) and bring to class. If you want, after class you can finish each sock to make ankle socks. A pattern will be included.
