This fast method of rug hooking will allow you to finish the project in class and is perfect for using handspun yarns. Each student will make a small sampler that they can be proud of. Each will most likely get hooked on rug punching. You will make your own pattern, which will be simple to punch. Some yarns and backing material will be supplied.

Material fee $6.  Bring your own punch (a 9 or 10), #10 is preferred. You need a 12 inch locking embroidery hoop and a 4 inch hoop for practice. Bring sharp scissors, a note pad and extra yarn to use and share. If you need a punch or locking hoops, you can call Barb at 208-523-8160.
